a worm on my spine
gorging on my unkind thoughts.
i need spinal tap.
heavy weight
the short days stumble.
running life without a break.
weight getting heavy.
once upon a time
a sunday morning.
a chance to begin anew.
just once in your life.
slow bloodletting
caught in the steel trap
no teeth to gnaw myself free.
stuck and bleeding slow.
full of greed
for simplicity
i feel the gnawing hunger
stuffed full yet hungry.
