my ma, ma

2 December 2017 by Jason

in the flower i find
life’s mysteries blossoming.
riddles unwrapping.
puzzles self-solving.

where once there was darkness
now there’s only light.
my life before, lived in night.
like a dark cataract, a blight.

from the brown earth
sprouts green the envy
of nations for when man unites
we put an end to the fights.

from the burning oil
to the smoke of clarity
like a blinding light
clear like alacrity.

when all the world finds peace.
the brotherhood of man released.
from a higher understanding
born from the womb of kali.
call her magu, the name just as sweet.

we all are green thumbs
the only way we become
parts greater by the sum.

To be nobody but yourself in a world which is doing its best day and night to make you like everybody else means to fight the hardest battle which any human being can fight and never stop fighting.
